The most important achievement:
  1. Conducting two researches on field in partnership with Educaid-Onlus and University of Bolonga, Italy to investigate: (1) the role of the educative models in the Palestinian community (parents, teachers, educators), specially analyzing their conception of childhood, participation and democracy; and (2) the size of the phenomenon of marginalised – working and street children in Gaza.
  2. Activities to promote awareness, knowledge and capabilities of stakeholders to identify the social exclusion's causes to support the promotion of participatory democracy and fundamental rights.
  3. Training courses for Play bus and children Rights Centre educators.
  4. Support and development of Children Rights Centre.
  5. Educational and recreational activities for marginalised children and teenagers, focusing on Non-Violent models and Gender issues at Children Rights Centre.
  6. Summer Camps to decrease psychological stress among children and adults and enhance the cognitive and cultural development of children.
  7. Psychological support provided to children and families via individual and group sessions and home visits.
  8. Play bus activities organised and carried out in primary schools. The work with the schools is organised on three main activities dealing with:

- "Ability Development": the purpose is to empower the children attention, memory, behaviours. It is done through special materials built by the educators and animators.

-" Creation and Free Play": this is the most typical play bus activities. The purpose is to break the rigidity and formality of the Palestinian school system. Educators let the children play with wooden games, big ballons, hula hops, stilts, etc. Moreover animators organize group games, songs and dance, little shows of clownerie.

  1. Play bus activities organized and carried out in kindergartens and associations, streets and public places.
  2. Clown doctor activities organized and carried out with hospitalized children.
  3. Cultural and educational twinning (WEB FORUM BETWEEN ITALIAN AND PALESTINAN CHILDHOOD).
  4. Activities to promote the awareness of families about children's rights and democracy. The program aims to support the whole social- educational dimension of the marginalized children and teenagers of Gaza. So is very important and significant to promote an active role of the family in the Palestinian society, and the participation of the parents in the educational growth of their children.
  5. Economic support for children very poor families including in kind nutritional support and financial sponsorship in order to protect those children from abandonment .
  6. Promotion of social integration of developed children within schools and community. Last year 12 children were integrated in schools .
  7. Kind and financial support for several local initiatives organized and carried out at institutional and individual levels regarding the development of educational work with children .
  8. Innovative models of syllabus and non syllabus education were applied to REC's kindergarten and school.
